Glimmermist Layout

Look, another layout!!!!

i have been having a grand time playing with my new Glimmer Mist Color Connections packets that i picked up at APOS! last week.

on this layout i sprayed the back ground with all the colours found in the House of Three Favorites (Sugar Maple, Apple, Starfish and finished off with Patina) While it was drying a bit i also sprayed and crumbled three different flowers with the same colours minus Patina.

Then it was time to lay my paper towel onto the sheet of paper and brayer off the excess glimmer mist (must save that papertowel for a future project!). then it was on to the canvas i have placed behind the picture. I used Hayride GlimmerGlam from the Rustic Barn paint system by Tattered Angels. it was the yummiest ever so i decided to swipe a bit of the glam across my page as well and then opps i got some on that beautiful flower too!!

next i applied a piece of dymo tape on a ‘private section’ of my photo and then i saw that i needed to balance out the black so layered the picture and the background page onto black cardstock which i also applied GlimmerGlam to. (Told you i loved it!) then i attached the picture to the canvas with pop dots then decided i needed to add a bit of oomph to the page so out came the dew drops!

i am really pleased with how this turned out.
