okay, day 1 challenge went out from APOS! and the first challenge is to create your own background paper!!

I started out with a piece of watercolour paper.

i misted it with my mini mister and then swiped various distress stains over the water colour paper and set it aside to dry.

once it was dry i took out a stamp and stamped with embossing ink on the bottom portion and used clear embossing powder and heat set it. i then laid down some butterfly masks and covered the whole thing with black paint.

once it was dry i wiped off the black paint from the embossed area. added a picture some stamps layered it onto a sheet of white paper which used a sharpie on. i then used some white ink and stamped on the title and a white pen to journal. i dipped my paint brush into some heirloom gold perfect pearls mist and outlined the picture. i think that is it.

i really like how it turned out.
