okay, so i may or may not enjoy a glass or two of wine every once in a while day… and like any good crafter i just knew there had to be a repurpose for them so i saved them
then along came pinterest!!!!!
there are so many great ideas out there and thousands of them i want to do but like all other things (running for instance) it is easier to do in my head then actually setting out a plan and doing it for real like!!
but this one.. it looked so easy. how hard could it be to glue some corks together… so i did it!!
but alas i still had tonnes left so what to do next!!! well i knew exactly what i wanted to do.
do you remember.. probably not.. but i had this really old poster board that i have been trying to do something with it… well i finally did!!
so as you can see so far i have created three things with my wine corks.
though i learned a really good lesson when making a wine cork cooling rack; one needs to be sure to apply all glue to bottom of corks not centre or top.. unless of course you don’t mind picking glue off the bottom of your pie plate!!
well i must run and start replenishing my wine cork stash.. poor me!!
