okay so Ranger has released a lot of new stickles and i had commented on their site that i am not a stickle fan but wondered if i could use it somehow in my art work and whether it mixed well with gesso.
well it does!
i had so much fun. this tag was first covered in broken china distress stain
once dry i mixed on my craft sheet some stickles and gesso, dug out my fancy scrapper (starbucks card) and drug some down my tag.
i then repeated that 3 times
i love how it turned out! the texture is wonderful and i apologize the picture does not do it justice.
i then added some white embossing along the edge
i set this aside and started on the heart.
i start out with these supplies
and then stamped, sprinkled and then heat embossed. i did this three times
and then i got so excited and played and played and played. i was so involved in playing that i forgot to take pictures!
i had stamped the heart onto a plan piece of paper and took the tissue tape and placed it right inside the lines of the heart. i pop dotted this onto my tag, pop dotted my heart which i had traced out with a white sharpie followed by a black sharpie, and then finally glue dotted the ‘with love’ over the heart. i knew it needed something and i had this ‘secret garden’ hidden in my stash and thought..holy wow that looks good!
once everything was in place i sprayed with a bit of heirloom gold perfect pearls mist and this is what i came up with

Wow, very cool tag. Love the tissue tape around the heart. It gives it so much texture! And the background is amazing!
