okay, another technique that i don’t do.. i am thinking i have done but totally forget about doing.
pop on over to Tim’s site and see the beauty he presented to us.
when i started mine it was just putting bits of paint here and there and it looked like this
i then rubbed off some paint, heat embossed it and it looked like this
well i wasn’t quite happy with it. it was very pretty but not something that i would use so i added a coat of black paint and rubbed it off and it looked like this
now that was more like it.
then i had to make the decision what i wanted the final product to look like. so i added a bit of this a bit of that and here is my final tag

Beautiful. I know what you mean about it not being what you wanted at first, but with all your steps and layers it sure came out great! I really like the lamp post.
Love the addition of the black paint. It really changed the feel of the tag.
