Tim’s 12 tags of Christmas – day 9

so yes, i fully admit to the fact that i am totally dedicated and a little fanatical when it comes to the 12 tags of Christmas. you see, i have this huge love for all things Tim ( i know, i know SURPRISE!!!)

so here i am at the Delta hotel in Prince Edward Island (remember yesterday’s tag, big surprise bday party here tomorrow night!) sitting at a little table creating away..

this is the best I could do with what i brought with me (and i brought a lot really cause i am playing with Auntie Carol and friends tomorrow morning but really who could bring everything.. not i !!) and yes i know i have until the 31st to post all my tags but i am a creature of habit and as in past years, i am creating my tags each day same as Tim! so i totally didn’t have any clear embossing powder so i improvised. i used pearl paint dabber, a left over tree from a kit i have with me and a fence i cut out from a friends die.

this whole tag idea came from a post my son had on his facebook page the other day.
“I have seen and done many things in my short time in Radio. I’ve seen thousands and thousands of dollars given away, a mustang or two, trips to places I wish I could have gone, and even been a girls date to the prom. At the same time I couldn’t count the times that people have been too busy to give us the time of day and fill out a ballot to one of these things. Couldn’t be bothered to put their name and number on a piece of paper to win our prizes. Today I was honored to be a part of the first signatures on the Sears Operation Wish banner. I asked people to take a minute of their time and write a message to our troops in Afghanistan, and they took the time! This is why I love our city. Thank you to the city of Fredericton, and thank you to the men and women over seas.”
thank you John for taking the time to remind us how fortunate we are to have those men and women in our lives and how they truly do sacrifice their lives for us. some believe in it, some don’t and some well they just don’t understand. i am grateful to them all and i wish all our men and woman a safe and wonderful holiday.

til next time…

HAPPY SCRAPPING!!!
