it has been forever it seems since i have posted anything. Well i am here to tell you why!!
it started out with my Melissa Etheridge tickets. I have to say folks it was a mighty fine concert. i took tonnes of pictures and was only told at the very end of the concert that i wasn’t allowed to use my camera there! You see i have a very nice Canon Rebel with a zoom lense and i may or may not of waundered up to the stage to take even closer pictures.. this is where i was caught. BUT what they don’t know that even though my camera looks like (okay is) a professional camera, i myself have no idea how to use it other then to click the button. I am going to work on getting to know it better (hopefully) this year!
So that was on Tuesday of this past week. On Wednesday we stopped into the garage with the car (it made a horrible noise the night before) and found out after an hour and a half that is was the ball joints or wheel bearings or something blue like (this terminology according to my dear friend Alissa).
so then it was off to Costco and then home to pack FOR MY TRIP TO EDMONTON!!!!
and what a trip it was! so very much going on and i promised myself i would take notes and lots of pictures and write about everything… yah well that didn’t happen. i did try so i should get points for that right!
so my highlight as always would definitely without a doubt be seeing Tim and Mario again…and the cherry on top, taking not one but TWO classes from Tim. he is so much more than i thought he would be. I can only dream of someday have the honour of attending Ranger U and spending three wonderful days under his guiding hand. I will be teaching a Tim technique Tag class soon to share his brilliance with you all!
Another wonderful class would have to be the one taught by the owner of Graphic45. Though the class seemed to be quite chaotic, learning new things can be challenging, i have to say i love my little mini and hopefully will be able to teach a similiar class to you all soon!
Also during the weekend we attended classes and make and takes from some other fabulous folks; Jen with We R Memories ( a mini album), Kathie at Fancy pants, Margie from Girls Papiere (a cute adorable flag); Jeri and Joanne from Bobunny (a layout); Mona and Franny from Bazzil (a card) Liz and Leicia at 3L Adhesives (a beautiful card..loved it!) and who can forget the energy level of Cathie from Clear Snap. I am so sure i missed so many people and if i have a pop in my head reminding me of them i will come back and post. i do have pics to post but need to figure out how to shrink. i will post in a picture category as soon as i have my web master guru set it up for me.
