The weekend has flown by, it seems lately they all do.
it started out with a wonderful evening of cropping at A PILE OF SCRAP!. auntie Carol came over from the island and we were able to play until 11:30 then it was sleepy time. I was able to work on my inspiration canvas and am now nearly half finished. I will for sure post pics as soon as it is finished.
Saturday was the LALA Girl class and the 10 ladies in attendance made my day. they were so creative and i especially love that the new ladies that joined in my class seemed to have not been scared away (one has even signed up for my Tuesday evening clock class!)
Saturday evening we were blessed with a wonderful bbq prepared by uncle jimmy and then it was time to relax and chat. Sunday morning came early and it was off to brunch with the family. my SIL Wendy is an amazing cook.. totally amazing. then it was back into town for the Run for the Cure.
Our amazing team was able to raise $2200 and counting and the entire city was over $190,000 yesterday at run time. i am very proud of each of these lovelies who raised money and took an active part in promoting and protecting the future of boobies!!!!
Last evening was time for final preparations for tomorrow evenings class.
LOAD just wrapped up over at APOS! and the inspiration teams final colour challenge was posted on friday. everyone has til this friday to complete the challenge and a draw from all ballots will be chosen Saturday.
