yes it’s true….

i have been sewing!!! nothing too fancy mind you but i am so pleased with how it looks

so it begins with me ordering the Creative Chemistry 102 apron. i was so tickled to get it but then was scared to death to wear it because i know in a heartbeat i would get ink on it….yes i know that is what an art apron is for but i just couldn’t do it.

so it brought me to yesterday pretending i was going to clean up my art room only to discover the fabric that i had to have but didn’t know what to do with…. it got me to thinking…

who says i need to wear my new apron in the art room. i do love to bake and always wear an apron in the kitchen but as much as i love my CC102 apron it just isn’t kitchen ready…

so without further ado here as some pictures…if you follow me on Facebook or on instagram you may have seen some of these already..

for my heart i even managed to stuff it with some foam to give it a bit of dimension.

same here. i wanted to balance out the heart being on just one side of the apron so stuffed an stitched a triangle here

the ‘remember the now’ is so from one of tim’s postings on the recap of his fabulous journey to Italy. i, as i am sure most everyone else, fell in love with this simple thought/phrase.

i love how tim’s trimmings fit so perfectly with his fabric but really did we expect anything else!!

now this is donna (i am not sure why her name is donna but that is the name!!) and here she is wearing my new apron which i will promptly hang in my kitchen to wear the next time i bake a pie!!i am so very excited to have had an opportunity to use my new material yet again. i can’t wait til i get brave enough to actually make something with it…
