Emerald Creek is one year old!!

hello everyone!!

today is a very special day … it is the one year anniversary of Emerald Creek entered our world!!  i can’t believe in one way it’s been a year and then in another way think i’ve only known Kim for a year???

for this months she had asked all her design team, current and former, to create something in celebration but with the category of ‘anything goes’… well here is my project.

emerald creek Sun Mask and the Moon Mask  are two stamps i have had for a while and i wasn’t sure at the time why they wanted to come live with me but i am sure glad they did!!

so out came a few of my supplies and i started creating. using cut N dry stamp felt i was able to make my own stamp pad so i didn’t have to worry about inking up the stamp with different colours each time

once the image was stamped using distress ink and embossed with clear embossing powder it was time to add the paint and the ink and the collage medium

what did i make… well i made a simple tictactoe game using Eileen Hull’s ATB’s, some mat board and a canvas frame. it was such a fast and simple project to create and has already brought us lots of fun playing!
