a bit of light

i just spent the last few hours teaching a room of women whom i have never met before. we worked on Christmas tags and cards. we used various techniques.. i started them out slowly and built to the finale.

it really fits into what i have been searching for in the last little while.. just a little part of it but still a major part of why.. at least i think

i have a very good life… i have met and married a wonderful creature and i have the most wonderful fantastical son i could ever ask for. i have friends who i know would be there in a heart beat if i needed them.. regardless of where i am.

i have love.

it surrounds me.

and not a moment goes by that i don’t appreciate it

i love that i can give a bit of joy, a break, a moment to those who live lives that i have never experienced and by the ‘Grace of God’ hope to never experience.

i thank them, though they will never read this, for adding a little bit of light into my life
