a little ‘time’ for me

sometimes a girl just needs to sit and play. know what i mean, kick back and just create for the sake of creating.

well this morning  i was once again stalking following  Tim and kicking my butt because i didn’t go on the cruise this year and remembered uncle jimmy saying, “it is like a warehouse in here” in reference to my scrap room and said to myself, self dig out some of those must have purchases (which my dealer over at A PILE OF SCRAP! knows they are NEEDS for me not WANTS!) and instead of looking at them actually use them. so i did.

i started out this morning by digging out my pocket watch, type charms and some foliage (which i dipped into my melt pot of UTEE!) along with gathered twigs and seedless preserves from the new Distress Fall collection and the Stuff to Say stamp set and i created this

next i searched my shelves and picked out this book and dug out some more of those must have NEEDS but just to look at pieces, this time it was an optical lens, some packing tape, some scrap paper, a bit of ideology, glossy accents, a teeny tiny stamp and off i went creating and i created this

oh i am on a roll.. next i dug out a couple of little 4×4 canvas’, a bit of ink, a LOT of beeswax and started working on another project.. love how it is turning out but i keep changing my mind on what i want it to say.. know what i mean… and will post pictures soon.

okay as i so know i am suppose to be working on class projects but like i said.. a girl deserves a break everyone once in a while.
