tagging time to play!!!!

LOL.. too funny.. ‘tagging’ the time to play instead of taking!! oh prolly not as funny as I think but still!!!!

so I am here to share with you a #12 tag I created over the last bit. and I say over the last bit because it was one of those weekend this past weekend.
I was lucky to be able to squeeze in 5 days off and it wasn’t even vacation time.
I had lots to do and for the most part, the weather cooperated. I built a shed, a cat kennel, moved a walk way and played in the gardens. oh squeezed in a couple of runs too!! a very productive few days.

so in between all of that I created!!

so it started with running two tags through the vagabond using tim’s mixed media thinlits. I absolutely knew I had to have this and am so glad I do!! the possibilities … crazy!

I then switched to adding some colour. I started by using my distress ink pads directly to the tag, sprayed water followed by distress stain spray and when it was good and wet …

I plopped the second tag on top of the first…

love that I now have two backgrounds to work with!
and this is what I ended up with
for the background, in behind the tag, I used a piece of packaging from a layered stencil.  I’ve always saved the packaging as they are so very cool all on their own… I couldn’t throw them out!
