We never thought we would ever get one.. We looked into getting one made for us and were quote a price of ‘around $7500’ for a 12 x 12 deck. WAY out of our price range
and then it happened… ‘if you want it built we will help you’. I couldn’t believe they were serious but then when ‘boy’ asked me about it i knew yes indeed they were serious. So it begun, we went to HD and ordered all the supplies needed.. totaling $2525… big difference (more on that later)
supplies arrived and so did our friends. they helped us lug all the supplies to the back yard and then we started. they came every evening and little by little it was coming together. There were a lot of laughs, everyone of us during the process obtained one sliver, and we all learned new things about each other. These two are our friends and we will treasure their precious time they have given us through the hottest July in history!
